Your agent already knows how to research, run code, browse the web, draft, and report. What it needs is information. Out of the box it can do a lot, but each tool you connect gives it another source of truth to work from. Imagine a new analyst with access to a single dashboard. Give them your analytics, your database, your CRM, and your team Slack, and suddenly they can do far more — not because they got smarter, but because they can see more of your work.

Context is the whole game

Your agent is only as good as the information it has access to. Every connector is another dimension of your work it can see and act on. If someone asks about organic performance, the agent can write the answer — but only if it can pull numbers from GA4 and Search Console. If you need a record reconciled, it needs your database connected. If you want a competitive teardown, it needs the web (it has that built in) plus your research tools. Same capabilities, richer context, dramatically better output.

A real example

You need a monthly performance summary for a client. Here is what the agent can do depending on what is connected:
  • With Search Console: clicks, impressions, and top queries — but no conversion context.
  • Add GA4: now it ties traffic to sessions, engagement, and conversions.
  • Add your CRM or database: now it can attribute results to deals or revenue, not just sessions.
  • Add Slack or Drive: now it can reference the latest team discussion and drop the report where your team already works.
Same report, dramatically different depth. Each connection added knowledge, not just a new button.

What you can connect

Ottic connects to the tools most teams already run on:
  • Google — Analytics 4, Search Console, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Gmail
  • Communication — Slack
  • Databases — PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MySQL (query your own data directly)
  • Custom REST APIs — point the agent at any internal or third-party API
  • Business tools — RD Station (CRM & marketing), WooCommerce, Pagar.me, WordPress, Figma
  • Research — SE Ranking, Semrush, AlsoAsked
  • And 1000+ more apps via unified connectors
Connecting is simple: go to Connectors, click connect, sign in. Start with the one or two tools you spend the most time in — the goal is not a wall of green checkmarks, it is enough context to help with the work you are already doing.

Custom connections

Need a tool that is not on the list? If it has an API or a database, you can probably connect it — point Ottic at a SQL database or a custom REST endpoint and the agent can read and act on it. When you connect a broad data source, review what it exposes and keep approval-required mode on until you trust the behavior — the same way you would not hand a new hire admin access on day one.

What’s next

Your agent now has access to your tools. Next, we put it to work on a schedule — handling recurring work without you asking each time. That is where Routines come in.
